Harv Moore

Harv was born and raised in the shadow of Yankee Stadium. He is a graduate of Boston University College of Liberal Arts. His passion from an early age was music and radio, and while in college he interned at a Boston radio station. Upon graduation he took a job at WFKY in Kentucky's capital city, Frankfort.

After a year at WFKY he was offered a job at WPGC in Washington D.C. to do mornings as Harv Moore 'The Boy Next Door'. He was onstage to introduce The Beatles at their very first concert in the U.S. at the Washington Coliseum. While at WPGC, Harv won many awards including Air Personality of The Year, and Program Director of The Year.

In 1975 Harv's boss at WPGC bought two radio stations in Buffalo (WPHD 103.3fm and WYSL 1400am), and asked Harv to move to Buffalo, to program both stations and host the morning show on WPGC. Bob Taylor was the midday DJ at WPHD, and Harv and Bob started doing a 'changeover routine' at 10am which became the talk-of-the-town. They decided to team up, and the result was the highly acclaimed Taylor & Moore Show. They created the mythical 'Land of Fa', which is talked about to this day.

Harv and his wife, Vicki have five children, and nine grandchildren.

Harv's hobbies include songwriting and record production. Some of his productions are featured on YouTube.
