Growing up I found radio to be fascinating. I remember many times recording the radio on tape and then playing back the song as I talked before and after it. I admired all those that I heard on the radio and always said, “that’s going to be me someday”!
I began in radio as an intern and worked my way up. I was determined that when I went into my internship that I was not leaving the radio station without a job. Within the first three months, I was earning a paycheck while working as a board operator at Star 102.5 and AM stations here in Buffalo including WWKB, WBEN and WGR. Later that year I was promoted to morning show producer. Over the next 16 years I learned so much about radio as I was on the air and I worked behind the scenes. Other stops along the way included top radio stations in Buffalo, Olean and Springville. I enjoy being on the air but my true passion is programming and working with the music. I also enjoy doing voice-overs and radio production.
When I am not on the air you will find me in my hometown of North Tonawanda. Spending time with my wife and two children is what I like to do in my spare time. Coaching T-Ball, watching the Bills and Sabres and exploring new restaurants/places in Buffalo is what I like to do in my spare time.
