COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS CAROL SING-A-LONG

It's the merriest Christmas sing-along in town! You'll sing your favorite Christmas carols like "Joy to the World" "Silent Night", "Jingle Bells", and many others.

This is not exclusively a church event - all are welcome! It is a community event to benefit some great causes and celebrate Christmas together. Food trucks with hot chocolate, cupcakes and pizza will be on site. The night will feature special performances by the (TBD) choirs, and a visit from Santa Claus! Be sure to dress for the weather!

FESTIVAL OF TREES, NEW YORK POWER AUTHORITY

The New York Power Authority (NYPA) features a dazzling display of artificial evergreen trees, adorned with energy efficient lights at its Niagara Power Vista, 5777 Lewiston Road, Lewiston, N.Y., as part of the annual Festival of Trees event.

The New York Power Authority (NYPA) features a dazzling display of artificial evergreen trees, adorned with energy efficient lights at its Niagara Power Vista, 5777 Lewiston Road, Lewiston, N.Y., as part of the annual Festival of Trees event. The trees are decorated for the season by area non-profit groups and will be on display all month.  In addition to tree viewing, guests are invited to enjoy the all-new state-of-the-art exhibits at the Niagara Power Vista. Visitors can take a seat in a 4-D theatre virtual roller coaster ride, create a transmission distribution system on a one-of-a-kind transmission grid table, build a dam or simulate the coordination of power across the state during bad weather.  Parking and admission are free at the Power Vista.  For more information, contact the Niagara Project Power Vista at 716-286-6661 or visit http://www.nypa.gov/niagarapowervista   for a complete schedule of activities.

ICE SKATING AT ROTARY RINK IN BUFFALO

Rotary Rink at Fountain Plaza is a free and open-to-the-public ice-skating rink in Downtown Buffalo.
 
 
The 2018-19 season continues through Sunday, March 17, 2019. Ice-Skate Rental is available for $2.00 for children and $3.00 for adults. Skate sharpening is also available for $3.00. Rotary Rink is a weather dependent Rink. If the temperature reaches 45 Degrees, please call (716) 854-RINK or (716) 856-3150 before you come Downtown to skate. Free ice-skating is made possible by Presenting Sponsor, Five Star Bank.

ANNUAL CHRISTMAS CONCERT IN LOCKPORT

Lockport Chorale and Lockport Community Band Annual Christmas Concert, 12/14/18 7-9:30pm at St. John The Baptist Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport, NY.

 

The Lockport Chorale will join with the Lockport Community Band in a Christmas Concert at St. John The Baptist Church, 168 Chestnut Street Lockport at 7:00 P.M.  The Chorale and The Lockport Community Band will perform a delightful selection of Christmas songs to brighten your holiday.  Come join in singing Christmas carols and the Haleluiah Chorus at the conclusion of the concert.

BREAKFAST WITH SANTA AT MARYVALE DRIVE PRESBYTERIAN

Breakfast with Santa will be held Saturday, December 15th, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Maryvale Drive Presbyterian Church, 425 Maryvale Drive (off Harlem Rd.), Cheektowaga. Please join us for this FREE event for ages 10 and under, so bring the little ones! All children must be accompanied by an adult.
